CHCI CONGRESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMNational Scholarship Opportunities

Introducing the College Board Opportunity Scholarships - A Clearer Path to College for All Students Applying to college is a complicated process, so we've created a program that guides you through it. It doesn't require an essay, application, or minimum GPA. Instead, it rewards your effort and initiative. Complete key steps along your path to college for a chance to earn scholarships.  Monthly opportunities to be entered into drawings for various scholarships.

Amount: Renewable award up to $5,000 + significant programming and support

Undocumented/DACA Students Eligible: No

Key Requirements: Resident of CO, GA, IL, NC; leadership, ability to persevere, and commitment to community. Financial need, GPA 3.5 and up

Amount: $10,000 per year

Undocumented/DACA Students Eligible: No

Key Requirements: High achieving African American students with demonstrated financial need who display interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship, and global citizenship

 

American Indian College Fund Full Circle Scholarship - https://collegefund.org/student-resources/scholarships/scholarship-programs/

Deadline: 5/31/20

Amount: Varies

Undocumented/DACA Students Eligible: GPA of 2.0 or above. Enrolled member of federal or state recognized tribe, or descendant of at least one grandparent who is an enrolled tribal member

Growing demand and lack of qualified workers in skilled trades and technology means it’s a great time to go back to school and enter these lucrative and fast-growing industries. To help keep up with demand and assist the next generation of professionals, Porch will award a $3,000 scholarship twice a year to eligible students.  Must have a 3.4 GPA or above.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Award - https://jackierobinson.org/scholarship/

Amount: $30,000 per year for four years + significant programming and support

Undocumented/DACA Students Eligible: No

Key Requirements: SAT score of 1000 or above, or ACT score of 21 or above.  Demonstrated financial need. For minority students who show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to community service.

Amount: $500 – $5,000

Key Requirements: Hispanic heritage, GPA of 3.0 or above

 

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute United Health Foundation Scholarship - https://chci.org/programs/congressional-internship-program/eligibility-program-details/

Amount: $7,000 per year for three years, + paid internship

Undocumented/DACA Students Eligible: Yes (DACA)

Key Requirements: Hispanic heritage, demonstrated financial need, enrolled in a major related to the pursuit of a primary health care career
